Craig was right, crazy weather pattern and gusty winds. The windiest I saw it was the GSL which was covered with whitecaps. It appeared to be a straight west wind. Drove through a wild rainstorm through most of the Tooele valley. The rain had just stopped and it was only 44 degrees at the lake. But there were sweet, steady 7.0 winds blowing and the sun came out and all was great. After about an hour of perfect sailing it switched west and started going crazy. There was one 15 minute reading of 10 to 33. Definitely matched MM19 yesterday afternoon wild wind lines accompanied by lulls. Some wild rides for an adrenaline junky. Glad I braved it through the rain. 3 sail seshes this week of +30mph winds and my body is trashed. Back to the wrist splints.
