Utah Lake water level

Postby Steven Nyhus » Tue Feb 28, 2006 7:09 pm

Has anyone seen the water level at Utah lake lately? I rode my bike out there the other day and it is FULL. Just looked on utahlakeview.com and it looks like they are raising the jetty that surrounds the marina. No ice anywhere, I just wish the temperature was a little warmer. Wind at Provo airport right now is 30 from the North. It's getting closer!!

Yes, the water level is definitely up. On the KSL weather news a few weeks ago, they mentioned that the water level was less than a foot from full, up quite a bit from the year before. Yesterday the lower Provo river appeared to be running much higher also. The lake may overfill when the runoff really starts.

Beach area will be scarce again for kiteboarding. Most of the garbage at the Lindon beach is underwater again. At least their is less room for beach fires.
