SKYLINE IS THE BEST SNOWKITING IN UTAH

Postby whit » Thu Mar 23, 2006 11:47 am

Skyline seems to always have more wind than anywhere else in the state. It is the highest snowkiting spot and almost always has the freshest and coldest snow. This year the snow cover is incredible, we will easily be kiting there until the end of May, if not longer. The winds are much more predictable than the other spots, at Skyline there always seems to be a breeze, compared to the other spots like Powder Mountain, Park City or Strawberry which are hard to predict. Try to talk Skyline UP this weekend to our out of state kite friends, because one day………you may show up at YOUR FAVORITE Local Kite Spot to see all the fresh powder tracked out. Think About It.

Hoping for a great Kite Fest this weekend. See you down there on Saturday.

Cheers

Whit,

I think you should have talked up the Park City dump of Sulphur Creek instead of Skyline.

Park City Municipal Landfill - World Class snowkiting only minutes from Utah's ultimate ski resort, Deer Valley
