weird wind spike

Check out the jump in the winds at 0800 on this graph from Pow Mow today. I don'r recall seeing a graph jump straight up like that before.

That is weird. Maybe the wind meter had a bunch of ice on it, then it broke off?

This week was awesome at Powder Mountain, 3 days of south winds in a row. It's been a great winter for wind up here so far. Pro kiter Reed Brady was hanging out all week. Reed's first sessions on the snow, he was loving it.
