Thank you everyone for the feedback!!!
Snowkiting truly is a FREERIDE sport, and we cannot escape that nature (I wouldn't want to). We will always try to keep that freeride vibe alive, and we will continue to evolve the SKM into an event that everyone can enjoy. The truth is there are 2 factors that make or break any kite event, wind and snow... and despite that most kiters bring so much stoke to the mountain that its always a good vibe even in bad weather.
Reading thru this post it reminded me of an important rule for any event organizer to ponder.... You can't please everyone (some don't even want to be pleased). On that note I wanted to share a bit of country philosophy that Windzup lives by: "Not Everybody Likes Us, But We Drive Some Folks Wild".
I look forward to getting wild with everyone at this years US Open Snowkite Masters. February 3rd thru 5th at Skyline, Utah.
Windzup,
Brian Schenck
