My guess is.
If we don't have solid, open discussions about attitudes and actions of kiters,
that rules and regulations and membership cards,
would be the direction taken to save access to our favorite spots.
I see 3 main spots we share with many other users,
ULLB
Strawberry River
Skyline

We just had a wake up call with ULLB

Billy touched on some current issues in his "notes from meeting"
that basically boil down to lack of RESPECT

for fellow launch users
for fellow kiters
for shared land usage

and some basic lack of common sense.

everyone of us is guilty in some sense, myself included

I have some points for discussion,
as i'm sure you do.

more later,,,,

Marty you summed up my feelings. I don’t want us to always be in a defensive posture.
I know a lot of kiters don’t want rules, okay I get it.
But it boils down to respect, and our launches. Without a place to park and setup our kites we have nothing.
I hope we can like Ralph put it move forward with this positive vibe and agree to agree to secure and gain back some launches.
If we think smart and do more than talk about it we might avert loosing launches. I think our most vulnerable launches are Strawberry, look at the parking situation. We had a lot more issues there last year, several arrest and tickets, parking, more kiters.
Let’s move forward with guidelines at a minimum.
We need to write a thank you letter to Utah county and put in writing what we are going to do (what we said we would agree to) and we as a group need to police each other to make sure it happens. or we could lose it.
