Newest UWA member-Senior Speedster headed to Utah

I got a great phone call out of the blue yesterday from Max Richardson. He's from Utah originally, but lives in FL. Now just bought a condo here to stay during the summers so he can remain connected to old friends here.

If the name doesn't ring a bell, you need to review page 22 of the new Windsurfing mag again. Yep, same issue with the Utah article. You'll see that Max started shortboarding at 70, ten years ago, and there's a great photo of him wound up on his big gear.

He found me through an old article, was wondering what the sailing was like and which gear to bring. Great guy to talk to. I gave him this site address and said "bring it all!" (or at least the big gear).

Look for him to show up at our lakes sometime late June. Drives a Suburban. If ya see him, give him a howdy and a Utah beer, willya?
