BWDave, excellent suggestion on the meter/webcam. Also a good suggestion to use gravel for a path into the water for entry and exit. That would save us having to trudge thru the mud and would solve the ranger's concerns about it just blowing away.I agree that we probably don't want anything along the lines of a pavillion or bbq area that would attract other users. Maybe just some signage near the spot we currently use stating that the area is a windsport rigging/launching area.

Lawnmower.....weed wacker. whatever. If the hay harvesting stops the kiting will go on! As it has been it was only one harvest. I am sure we could do wonders with a couple of mowings.....We could get one of thoose Golf club style trimmers and let ralph go crazy.....
