Rush is still very kiteable

Postby Kenny » Wed Jun 21, 2006 12:00 pm

Rush is shallow, but not gone. I was there Monday morning. The weeds and low water level have created areas where the water is absolute, butter - not a ripple. There is more mud to wade through to get to the water, but it is a kiter's nirvana. Plus it is already blowing there today. I will personally be there. I love UL, but the traffic is just plain nasty. I will wait until Rush is nothing but a mudslick before I head to UL.

Its Wednesday afternoon, Marty's at Rush right now and says the water is so low he's dragging his fins. Looks like Utah lake for the rest of the summer, or maybe DC!
