SF canyon turned on this afternoon

Postby DeanDavis » Mon Jun 26, 2006 6:02 pm

For those looking for the North this afternoon. SF canyon just turned on (SE-downcanyon) at around 5:30pm (mid 20mph). That could destroy what little north is coming or Lincoln might be far enough west to not get hit with the SF canyon winds (SSB is right in the line of fire). Anyway just a warning.

Dean,

It was weird, not only did SF fire, all of Utah Valley switched to the East. I got a few marginal rides on my 17M and Glide between 5:30 & 6 then it just died. The SE came in 20 minutes later, but it was not strong enough to ride at Lincoln.
