Where to Ride 9/17

Postby Craig Goudie » Sun Sep 17, 2006 9:13 am

One more day of North wind. Doesn't look that strong, but probably PM
planable at UL launches for Windsurfers if you have 8Ms or better. The
South launches will likely be the strongest, but I think probably still
18-20M stuff for Kite boarders. Grantsville will probably cough up a few PM planers from the NW.

Stay warm out there.

Probably a DeerCreeker tomorrow, then it looks pretty good from the South on Tuesday and pretty good from the North on Weds.

yeah, the forecast is for 40 degrees of warming in heber tomorrow. that's a big swing and should develop a thermal since there is no real push forecast otherwise. i'm hoping for wind at island beach or, if not, at sailboat beach by 3-4pm. i'll watch the dam, sundance, Jim's barometric pressures and the temps to see when it starts up. also nice is that it is forecast to be a textbook fall day, warm and pleasant. when this happened last week it was definitely smooth, both wind and water.
