The area is similar to Skyline as it sits between 9600-9800 feet in elevation. Snowpack as of this week is similar to Skyline with a few feet of packed pow.
Unlike Skyline, the terrain is mostly flat.....but you are close to Zion with amazing views nearby.
For Las Vegas kiters or for those traveling near Cedar City (Vegas skiers often head up the same distance to Brian Head) Midway can be a good Snowkite stop. It is also one of the only easily accessed areas with that much snow cover that far south!
Access can be from I-15 or from hwy 89.
