Where to Ride 4/2

Some wind out there today, and it might hit 60 degrees air temp too.
Best bet is probably DC from about 11AM till 3 PM. It's already planable up there. I figure 6.5 material becomming gustier as it gets later in the afternoon. Pineview will be similar (unless the curse prevails).

Grantsville will provide big gear planers till about 1 PM or so.

Rush will go North late afternoon early evening, but probably
a little gusty with all the West in it. Medium sized Kites, and a chance
for a thunderhead or 2.

UL Saratoga Springs Park(Pelican Point) will likely go North early evening
for big gear planers. I'm guessing planable conditions on the east side of
the North end as well, but a little lighter than the West side. I'm not
sure the North will make it all the way down to SSB today.

Tomorrow, North wind at UL launches and Rush. Weds looks like
a transition day with windless ;*) conditions.

That kind of seems like the official start of the season to me. And since I traded in the usual trip to Margarita, for Italy, and we just got home yesterday, I'm excited for the sailing season to start here. And since, I'm lucky enough to have today off, I just might have to head for DC, for the first "hope I remember how to sail" and "sure hope I can still get in my drysuit" day.

Craig, I want to inquire about the artificail blubber.....I did increase a bit of my own this winter, but I don't think it will keep me much warmer, so I need some more blubber.

DCJim....will you be out today? Maybe the Bradshaws? I have a feeling you might. If anyone is planning on sailing, give me a call 209-4315. I prefer not sailing alone. Sarah

The curse was in full effect yesterday.
(at least when I was there)

So I drove past the water and went for the snow at Powder Mountain.
I guess that was snow, it felt more like sticky honey.

But, I agree that today should be good at PV.
Clear day, stormyness yesterday.
Damn, I wish I dind't have to work.

I havent been down on the lake, but it looks to be windy on the water and very windy everywhere else in the valley. Hope someone is kiting or sailing today.
