no Bart and 2 new stop signs

Hi guys. I just got back from a great vacation and got to sail 14 out of 17 days. It was awesome. 3 of those days were easterlies at Stevenson but they were really good 5.2days. The rest was a mixed bag of 4.2 and 4.7 days at the hatch and dougs mostly. 1day at Maryhill on a 3.7 was great untill it went ballistic. Lots of current made for good swells. Not very many people up there for either the Canadian holiday or for Memorial Day weekend. Must be the price of gas.The cheapest I found up there was 3.29 at the truckstop at Biggs. One of the none windy days was all rainy and stuff, but I got almost 300 bucks at the swap meet that day for stuff I never use anymore. The other 2 none windy days I went for very scenic motorcycle rides. One in Washington and one in Oregon. If you are looking for a nice drive on a none windy day, do the loop that goes from Lyle up along the Klikatat on the road to Goldendale, but before you get to Goldendale turn North and go to Glenwood then downto Husom and back to white salmon.Very scenic. If you do that loop be sure and check out the overlook that is 6 miles east of Glenwood.Get off the hiway just past the 6 mile marker to the east pull off just a short way on a dirt road and park then a short walk down to a fence to keep you from falling off the cliff. It is a fantastic view of the canyons where the Big Muddy feeds into the Klikatat river. I would have not known about it had not Bart told me about it. Speaking of Bart, Q104 has new owners and are not doing a morning report. 105.5 has Eric Molstat, but he's not nearly as good as Bart. And there are 2 new stop signs they put up while I was there. They are just below Windance just before the freeway. It is a 3 way stop now so people exiting eastbound at exit 64 don't get backed up too far. Well, it's back to work now.Digging holes for the new Millicent chailift and a couple of basements in Brighton. I'll be going back up there for 2 weeks end of June --the 4th of July week.I expect to see more of you on that trip.Take care and pray for peace.See you on the water. Tom W.
