Where to Ride 8/19

Postby Craig Goudie » Sat Aug 19, 2006 9:28 am

Not much potential today. Maybe a Formula ride PM at Sulfur in the
10 M (that's sail) Range, and maybe a huge Kite ride at ULSSB
around the dinner hour on North wind. Rush will have it's typical thermal,
but no water means no rides.

Tomorrow looks the same,

Saturday was the third night in a row at Utah Lakes south shore. When the strong north hits the POM, I've been heading south and meeting the wind line as it arrives on the south end of Utah around 6pm. Each night it has been strong and solid wind until sunset. 13 and 15 meter kites were out, but could have been on 9's and 11 meter wings.

There were only 2 of us out on what felt like the best wind I've rode in Utah.
