Prolimit booties

I was recently in Hood River, but could not find my usual Prolimit split toe low cut bootie. Checked all the biggies, like Windance, and Bigwinds and downtown shops. They had split toe high top boots, but not low. I heard rumor that none were imported into the US, but have no idea if that is true....hope not cause mine have holes in the soles. I tried on the Oneil SF but don't like them as well. Any ideas will be appreciated!

I bought a pair of Billabong low cut, split-toes. I like them much better than the Oneil's. I bought them at Marine products, but they were out when I went in the other day. I suggest that you do a search on http://www.froogle.com. The more specific the description, the more exact the outcome will be.

Prolimit stuff used to be distributed in the USA by North Sports (in Bingin, WA, they had Naish, North, Prolimit, and a bunch of other brands) I was notified that this year 2007, That the brand would not have a US distributor. That is probably why they are hard to find. I liked their Kitesurf harness and the booties as well. As K-man suggested maybe go on line.

Unless Marine Products gets more in... I'VE GOT YOUR SOLUTION! While I was in Maui, I rented from the Maui Windsurfing Company... They GAVE me a pair of Ripcurl Lowtop booties Split toe and a pair of dakine gloves for renting from them! I love the shoes... Here they are... Call the Maui Windsurf Company... They'll mail them to you AND give you a great deal. Ask for Federico or Kristian... Ask them to give you a Utahn deal! Or not!

Actually the ones that MWC has have an elastic around the ankle that you can tighten with one of those little spring spere things... They're really comfortable and functional and stood the test of a lot of coral reef!

Checked Marine Products, not much there. Rick the Rip Curls look pretty good. I'll check them out. Thanks for the ideas.
