Sailworks question

I have a Sailworks Cam 1 (I think the model is right..), 4.0m, I don't know the age though it appears newer, and it doesn't have a cutout on the luff sleeve for the boom clamp. It has 2 horizontal slits on the luff sleeve: one above and one below where the boom should clamp to the mast, but again, no cutout. Hmm... What is the deal with this? I am expecting that I need a special clamp for this. Insights?

Have you ever blinded yourself by flicking on a light bulb in a dark room? I think I figured it out: slide the mast out one slit of the luff sleeve and back in the next, exposing the necessary section of mast for the clamp. Amazing.
