Where to kitesurf?!

I just moved to Provo from Denmark in Europe. I brought all my kites and I'm dying to use them here in the states, can anyone tell me the best places around within like 100 miles of provo and when there is wind

Getting There South Sandy Beach or SSB
Take I-15 South bound past Provo to the second Springville exit.
The exit has Walmart on the East and Cracker Barrel on the West.

From the exit, head West for about 2 miles.

The road will curve to the south, you'll pass some old white beehive boxes on the east and then come to a "T" in the road.

Turn right at the "T".

Go about 2 blocks and turn North by some farm houses.

If you go over the canal you've gone too far.

Now you’re on the final road to the Beach.

The road winds through the farms for about a mile then turns to the west and changes to a dirt road for about 1/2 mile ending at the beach.
Good when the wind is from the north. Keep your eyes on the link in the weather section for bluffdale to be reading in the 12 or so from the north.

Within an hour is the south end of Utah Lake, look for Lincoln Beach or South Sandy Beach...and wait for a smooth north wind.

There are numerous mountain reservoirs to try as well, each with its own wind and predictions.

10 hours in any westerly direction will take you to the Gorge, the Bay or So Cal, each with its own temperature and wind to choose from.

The Utah wind season is just about to start up again for Fall on the water..and in 8 more weeks we'll all be on the snow in Utah... hope you brought your skis!

See you on the water Thomas, and welcome to Yewtah!
