And People thought I'd never go to the Dark Side!!

That's right - I picked up a Kite, it just came, and I'm dying to get out and give it a go on the snow. I guess I'm just not as pumped about windurfing in the salt ponds in sub 30 degree water anymore and this is my reprieve. A friend and I want to get out today. Anyone going out to Strawberry or somewhere that I might be able to get a few pointers? I've done plenty of windsurfing and paragliding, and You-Tube studying (and I'm not talking the bikini web cams) so I doubt I'll have too much trouble figuring it out but I've learned enough from locals in all my sports that it'd be nice to ride with someone who had some experience (and I'm not talking about with bikini web cams).

Dave, my suggestion for you today would be to go to Sulphur. the powder @ Strawbs will decrease your fun factor the first few times out. the hard pack surface @ Sulphur will be easier to get the feel of your "Link". 10-15 forecast is also good for your new adventure.

Was hoping to drive a little less. What about Park City?

Is it the field just south of Wal-Mart where everyone goes?
