New Weather Tool

Postby kenonstott » Fri Jun 20, 2008 12:12 pm

I just found a new wind tool on the NWS/NOAA Salt Lake City weather page (but maybe this is old to the rest of you). Right under the Prototype Digital Forecast button, which has been discussed here before, there is one called National Digital Forecast Database. Click on our area of the national map and you can drag the cursor over the times listed by “wind” and you can get a map of wind predictions every 3 hours out 72 hours. It even shows the wind flags to show wind direction. This is a cool tool. We will have to see how accurate it is.
