LINDON NUKEFEST 3/30/10

Postby David Kyle » Tue Mar 30, 2010 3:41 pm

I was driving by Lindon today to check to see if anyone
had a pair. Was around 1:00 and Tyler was out on 10m Bull.
I threw on my gear and we shared his kite for about 2 hours,
Winds were surprisingly smooth for a day like today until my last run.
I think we were getting low 30's and finally a squal came through that got me
to call it quits real dam quick. :oo

I think Mark gets the MVP award this year for
his selfless photoshoots. No one else in our community
travels as much as Mark, to capture the local kiters doing
what we do, while sacrificing his own time on the water and snow.
Just wish I would have stuck around.

Driving home from work yesterday along I-15 South, I peered over at the lake and was stoked to see a couple of kites popping up and down. Way to brave the elements! My hat's off to you hard-core kiters. I got really excited about the upcoming (already begun) water kiting season as I drove home.

Mark - thanks for the pics! They're great!
