Mona Reservoir

does anyone know anything about Mona reservoir. I see it every time I drive down past Nephi, and it always looks so inviting. Is there access to the lake, what is it like, anyone ever been?

Mona is accesible at the boat launch on the west side. Exit at Mona and head west. The road wraps around the south end of the lake and then heads north. From there, go (maybe) 1-2 miles to the first paved road heading towards the lake. It's not marked. Best wind is due south. SW gets pretty squirrely due to the mountains to the west. If you're windsurfing, you can park right at the water. If you're kiting, you Can launch on the other side of the fence right next to the boat ramp. I did so when the owner was there and they didn't seem to mind. But don't self launch in that field. There are a million burrs and I put 50 holes in a LE bladder there.
