5/22 Craig's Where to Ride

Windy and warm today. Grantsville has AM 5.5 sail conditions, which might hang around until 1PM.
Look for South winds to kick up in the 6/12M range at DC from Noon until 5, but expect
gusty conditions as it gets later in the afternoon. Rush looks to punch through the North thermal this afternoon
and provide gusty 5/10M conditions from the South. Likewise, I think ULMM19 and UL Lincoln will develop
6/12M conditions from 3 until 8. Mona in the 7/14M range 3 until 6. and probably Willard in the 6/12M range
from 11 until 3. There may be potential for UL and Rush to go North just before dusk, but I think the wind
will remain South until 11PM.

Tomorrow, looks like gusty 6/12 at DC PM, strong West winds in the 4.5M sail range at Sulfur PM,
and gusty WNW winds in the 6/12M range at Rush PM.

On Friday, more planable North winds at Rush.

According to the State Parks website, Willard North Marina is closed until further notice due to the oil spill they had months ago. I called their number several days ago and the voice mail said the same thing. 435-734-9494 - main park number.

Correct I went there last week and north entrance is completely closed off. It looked like you could go to south entrance and get to southern part of willard bay but I never tried...
