Where to guess to ride 8/25?

I guess we gave Craig the day off! Wild guesses being accepted, please chime in.

Clouds early in SLC aren't looking too good, I'm feeling a NW wind already. Unless Duane/Grant are calling for a Board meeting at DC Dam I'm guessing Sulphur is the afternoon bet?

John,

I have been waiting for Craig's forecast all morning. I wish I had listened to him yesterday and went to ULSSB instead of Jordanelle.

It is one of those strange days with a stalled front and another one on the way. The best indicator may be Marty's magic eight ball

Sulphur will probably have wind, but will the notorious thunderstorms destroy the fun?

I am at my office and I am just trying to get some work done so that I can leave early if the skies magically clear and a sweet north wind sets up.

lucky for us amateurs, Jim Southwick is back at his Ranch, and his Red Sled is checking the beach as we speak. Sundance is going off, it must be stuck, since DC dam isn't showing.

I noticed that yesterday, Craig said that today would be similar. ULSSB or Lincoln after 4. This is my first time checking out the messages but it looks like everyone looks to Craig so Ill try out his advice. However, every time Ive gone Ive been grounded because of the lightning. I wonder if today will be the same?

Sorry guys, but I ate something last night at the Cracker concert, that
made me pretty sick (at least that's my story). I didn't make it to
my PC until about 2 PM, and by then y'all knew what you were doing
anyway.

was it the Tai food Craig? it got me this morning too..... Cracker was good though.

you all are probably out getting it right now, but please post in the morning what you think is going on for saturday night. sounds like it may be too stormy tomorrow for any lincoln action? there will be plenty of wind, but too many storm clouds too?

if anyone else is going tomorrow, i'd love to know. the girlfriend isn't the keenest on sitting on a windy beach, and i'm afraid of the beach self launch at lincoln. too many rocks. is it beach technique self launchable at south sandy? i'd try the drift technique, but i don't want my first time to be alone...

It wasn't Tai food, but it was definitely something I picked up down there.

Cracker was excellent! I liked Camper-Van also. David Lowery, the
only Singer/Guitarist I've ever seen open up for himself.
