Where to Ride 10/1

Wind today, but the North shift may not happen during daylight hours.
Best bet is Sulfur in the 5M range PM with a high temp of 61. DC will
be up around Noon and might even be 5.5 when it comes up, but I think
you'll want a 6.5 after the 1st hour, as the clouds roll in and it gets gusty.
Grantsville 5.5 AM will probably hang in till 1 or 2 PM all South. The
North switch at UL will likely not get there till dusk. Kiters might get an
hour in before dark if they try the North launches. Cool today, with rain and clouds rolling in mid to late PM.

Tomorrow looks light with big gear potential at Sulfur and a slim chance
for huge kites at UL.

Weds brings more South wind to Sulfur, DC and Grantsville.

thinking about it. i can't get out till after work as usual, and unless the shift happens early, i can't imagine it being too good in that time frame. as usual though i will watch the predictors and give you a call/text around quittin time. i'm hoping for the best, but planning for the worst. if it is still windy from the south i may be up for trying farmington bay.

kenny- just how mucky is it? bring water to rinse off with?

Mike,

I didn't bother to rinse off, but I am not all that picky since everything goes in the back of my truck. I would bring a jug of water if you want to keep everything pristine.
