I watched breezy conditions, for several hours, in north Salt Lake, yesterday afternoon. It gave me high hopes for possible wind at UL, but when I checked at 3:30 the was nothing. So I loaded the board on wheels and headed for the Sea of Asphalt. Got about 1.5 hr's of pretty good breeze. It's was a bit up and down as usual, but very pleasant overall. Rick H, showed about that point and killed the wind! He at least practiced rigging.

IT would be fun to get a few others out. It only takes 5 to 10 mph of wind to get you movin. Jason M, it would be fun to see you try it with a kite.....I think you mentioned that you might try it. Let me know if you do.

I also would love to see the kites and buggies or landboards at Bermster, I hope you guys will post when you head out there.

Ya I've gone there lots over the years to kite and even skate sail. Now that I have been swayed back to the force I will bring my old skate sail set up if I can find it! If you guys know of someone selling a 135l or so slalom board I am in the market. I want a light wind slalom setup for Deer Creek and Sulphur when it's just too damn gusty to kite

Hey Jason, I know of a 145 JP.....It may be wider than you want. Or I sold a 135 North Shore Maui, to Mike Rossberg a couple of years ago, and I don't think he's used it much, so he might part with it. It's only 67 wide, and was pretty fast on the water, it worked best with a 7.5 or 8 m sail. So give that a thought too. SR

And boy did I learn a lot about using rocks as downhaul cranks!
Was still worth watching Rosco try to unearth some vermin that he was determined to get. Great little vermin getter!
