5-14-08 no wind at Yuba

Postby windzup » Thu May 15, 2008 7:33 am

Gave up the warm and dry Snowkiting to try the freezing water for a day... Flat water with light to no winds kept me off the water and just as warm. Odd that the North wind DID NOT make it down to Yuba, when it was blowing everywhere else, including Skyline and UL.

Only two other campers on the entire lake.

I still prefer gore-tex over rubber, and I think getting skunked at Yuba is like a ground hog seeing his shadow.... back to the hills for me.

See you on the water as it warms up...maybe soon.
