Gradually increasing flicker of wind beginning at about 2:30. By about 4:30 it looked as though it might be possible to get rides on really big gear. And it was, just barely. Water temp is rising quickly; my probe showed 58F surface temp at the launch. http://homepage.mac.com/jsouthwick/PhotoAlbum100.html

thanks Jim. your data is useful, i appreciate it. looks like the thermal is coming up late. was it better up by the dam?

Didn't check on SBB. The best gusts at IB were in the eddy below the highway.
