5/25-6/1 Gorge 5.5-4.2 8'2" Clubber

Stuart and I ran into Tom Whitkey and Jamie McReal initially, sailed 5.5-4.7 for 4 days (at The Hackery and Dougs).
Then Stuart left, and I caught up with Gunars (recovering nicely from back surgery), and Josh Shirley (taking an
instruction clinic). Sailed 4 more days, my favorite of which was 4.2 and Logo high (no kidding) swell at the
Hatckery. What a day! The water is cold, but the air was low 70s. The forecast for the week was for
cold, rainy and windless, we got warm, sunny, and windy. On my last day I was on my way over the bridge
looking down at the Hackery and could see 1 sail out. It kinda looked familiar, and indeed it was, as I pulled
up to a smiling Jim Hornbeck, just fresh into town, and ruler of the Hackery.

The season is shaping up nicely, start thinking about a trip up.

7/19-7/29 for me, and Jon and Jeff Manwaring.

Scorpions again this year?

Jon keeps threatening to buy me a beer, maybe we can get him to buy us a Scorpion bowl.
I'll be up 7/27, so maybe the 28th. You should be in full on Gorge mode by then.

Woops,,
We are actually leaving the night of the 28th.
When I looked at calender, I thought it was Saturday.
But don't plan around our schedule.

If you like I can put it up as an announcement...

But, we'll see what the consensus is as far as timeframe... Darin is really the scorpion king... Let me know Craig...
