Wow. great morning especially after yesterday's disappointment. Arrived to see Mike and Ken bright and early.
Sailed for about 2.5h with almost non stop planning especially on the 5.4. Fun day. We got joined by Josh and another sailor who probably thought the water was too cold (it was cold!!!) anyway. Great way to start the day.
Lots of water rushing in from the mountain at the North end.

Sounds nice! Planing with a 4.7 really? Think it will blow Saturday, tomorrow, too? What's the best wind indicator? Is there an online anemometer?

I'll be hitting Grants in the morning if it's going to happen! Nice pics Manny... Yeah, we are just a month behind maybe on this spring time thing...

John, Crissy Field right?! I've sailed there a couple of times and loved it... It was a little wierd going in the water and watching a cruise ship head straight for me... The swell was huge too. And if you've sailed Crissy... You've probably tried Ocean Beach a time or two. Now that was an experience...

Yes click on the grantsville station on the noaa observation map
http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/slc/current/meso.too.php
Look at the weather links it should be there. Best is 7:00 AM-10:00 AM days when south wind (even mild) are predicted

No wind today though.
