Driving the stretch of road between Evanston and the lake my truck was being blown around quite a bit. Usually a good sign. When I got there the water looked fully 4.7 for me and I almost rigged it. But reminding myself of the thin air up there I rigged 5.2 instead. And my 100 Ltr. board. I wore my cap and gloves and managed to stay warm for maybe just over an hour, then my feet started to feel it. I came in to warm them up but ended up not going out again as it clocked @ to the west more and got gusty holey and even started to drizzle a bit. Didn't feel like swimming and noone else around. So I called it. Good sesh.though. Plus I was almost out of Oregon beer. Hopefully they turn the water heater on soon. The state hiway dpt. Has the big blower up on Gaurdsmans Pass, so hopefully that will be open soon. It cuts off at least 30-45 mins for me. Seeya. Tom W.
