6/16 Lake Point Ponds

After two disappointing sessions this past week, it was nice to get some decent wind. Wind coming off the lake was a steady 15 mph. I flew the SilverArrow because I didn't want to be underpowered. Had loads of power. The wind stayed solid, the water was flat, and the scum flew into the air as I made slashing jibes. The smell is always bad when you get there, but I don't notice it after 10 minutes or so. I think it is just a little filthier than Rush used to be in 7 or 8 years ago and certainly better than Rush was after the fish die-off. I must be a sick puppy because I am really starting to like that place.
