Spent two weeks in the gorge. It was very windy and big swell. There was strong wind somewhere on the river every day. Sometimes on the East end, sometimes in the west end of the gorge. I lived at Roosevelt. Eight days at Roosevelt. Three separate days ended up on 3.0 sail. Logo to mast high swell. June 10th was sick. Fifty plus wind all day long. 3.0 and mast high swell. A huge strong guy that sails Roosevelt often named Barrick, charged on a 3.2 all afternoon in shorts and wet suit top in 55 degree water, 55 degree air temp. Big back loops were the call for him and he was all smiles. After that probably the most solid 50 plus wind I’ll ever see and huge smooth swell. Also sailed Dougs three days and the hatch 4 times. Leaving an epic dawn patrol 4.2 at the hatch with epic swell. Sailed with Craig and Tom at the Hatch first sess. Than hung out with Josh next evening and following day. Went out on a 3.5 at Roosevelt as Josh had to leave from Arlington. Met a lot of nice people. Hung out most with Manu from Argentina and some Canadians.

What, two weeks! Did you win the lotto? Glad to heard you had a good time. I was thinking about going to roosevelt in 2 weeks, is it over my ability level? Mast high waves sounds pretty crazy. I'm going to have to call you and pick your brain about some of these launches. I'm jealous!
