7/5 9.5 Another Weekend at Burmies

Postby mike loeser » Sat Jul 05, 2008 10:42 pm

Burmester set up nicely today. It looked like it was a go from 10 on, but didn't pick up till around 1. Rode nicely powered and was able to ride until I had to go. A few spikes of wind, but no lulls to speak of. I had a few jumps that made me kick the board off with visions of Kenny's ankle in my head. I rode way out by the canal most of the time and didn't want to hop back to the car. Still ended up in the ground a few times. Raleys don't work so well on a landboard!
Wind was basically 15-20 mph all afternoon. Hope I didn't miss anything at DC. Only thing that would have made Burmies better would be some water to cool me off or land in.
Kenny, I may have asked you this before, but which place is nastier Lake Point or the Acid lake?
