7/28 DCDS 13M

Like Jim said, a suprizingly good afternoon at Deer Creek. I got there early and got out as soon as the wind picked up figureing it was going to be weak and short like Sunday. With that thinking I rode my Plyde until I broke it in half on a landing. I switched to a smaller board and it was fine. It was the first session in two weeks for one of the other persons on the water. That person wants to rub it in to another person that can't kite so I will let him do that himself.

Thought I saw the Billymobile in the parking area. Good to know that the Flying Squirrel is back in action.

Yeaaaa. First day back under the kite for me, I reached up to where Jim was sailing and waved hello then felt a bit underpowered on the 11m instinct so I ran back down to the darkside for fear of swimming! Ralph, Brad and I had the entire darkside to ourselves, we rode intill about 4 when the wind stopped, DC sure is becomeing a kiters dream, it may big light but it just keeps giving up the goods! looks good for today also!

I think I am the other person you are referring to, however, there is another person I can think of. So you can tell that person that this person and the other person are telling that person to stick it up their ass! Thx

What I am doing really isn't kiting, I am just mowing the lawn. With a few little transition airs. My ankle is still not working right but with a lot of tape and a brace I can work around it for now. Icing the ankle hoping for wind tomorrow. None today Brain and I rode for about 5 mins in 15-30 second burst. It was crappy.

Kenny 17 days of rehab, it should be more like 3o days min but.......

Billy,

I am really glad that you are able to ride again, I do not begrudge your good fortune. I was just in a foul mood yesterday. I was able to talk my doc into moving up my exam by 10 days, so I am going in on Friday to see if it has healed up properly. If all goes well, I may be on the water again by mid-August. My last time riding was 33 days 1 hour and 28 minutes ago, but who's counting...
