SW wind arrived about 11. Gusts as high as 38 mph measured on the beach. I rigged a small (5.3m^2) sail on a relatively large (117 L) board in , as it turned out, a reasonably successful effort to survive both the gusts and the lulls. Duane, Grant and George all rigged larger sails, and in some cases, smaller boards, and did fine, as did the darkside contingent, who once again demonstrated the amazing wind range and gust tolerance of the newer bow kites.
