I was in Midway shooting photos while the wind blew like hell, but by the time I got there all I could see was George's white butt as he got back in his clothes. Mike Egan called from UL and said it was building and it turned out a perfect day for both of us. I should of brought a smaller board, but riding the big caddy was fun. Started to get tired around 5pm when Eric C., Jim H. and Ken O. showed up. I was getting blown out, but sadly, after about 25 minutes they slogged back in....

One of the best days of the year! Started on a 7.5 and 117 liters which was way too much. Went down to a 5.5, then to a smaller board 95 liters. Sweet ramps, cold water, fall is here. Sailed about 4 hours and looks like more wind tomorrow. Very nice to break the dry spell of 5.? or smaller.
