Utah Snowkiter on cover of Kiteboarding!

I just received my December Kiteboarding issue and was stoked to see a Snowkiter on the cover... and a Utah local no less... Congradulations Jake!

There was a great accompanying article with amazing photography. Get a copy if you can, its a great read.

Too bad the story didn't mention the other 3 RV's that were living the AK Snowkite dream at the same time, including Utah locals Heather and Rob, and a dozen other Snowkiting friends from Orgeon and Wyoming on the Snowkite Freeride tour.

After you read the article, google map the Harding Ice Field. You don't have to fly in, in fact you can hike up throughout the summer to access the pass, and for the past 3 years AK locals hold a 4th of July Snowkite rally there. Definitely worth the trip and the article should stoke everyone up, and encourage all to make their own Alaskan pilgrimage.

I can't wait to go back, there is so much to see there and its all beautiful and amazing terrain.

I have been getting calls and texts/emails about the cover shot and the full spread story about the AK trip. I haven't seen the issue yet. I normally get mine in the mail. I have been going to the book store to see if they have any. The bookstore said they haven't recieved it yet.. I got a skype from Mike Steen. he said they have 25 copies in their store at Cloud 9. I'm going to go by there soon to pick one up.

It was MIND BOGGLING trip. Harding Icefleid is MASSIVE. There were so many places to pick. We were like little kids in the plane looking out the window. I don't how much Aaron Sales said about the trip. I will be sure to fill in some detail after I read it. Richard Hallman took over 5000 photos during the one week trip. I don't know which photos he gave to the Mag.

Representing for the Utah Snowkite Crew. I can't wait to go again.

just pulled the issue out of the mailbox. Sweet cover shot jake. Nice. Cool shot of a glide too in the article. Now I just need to read the article. looks like a amazing trip, though. Again congrats on the cover jake.
