12/27 Monte Cristo

Went up to powder mt. thinking that was the best shot at some wind, turns out it was. Lots of wind, lots of snow. My gauge read low 20's but visibility was goin from nothing to not much. I wanted to wait it out because it was 2:30. Somehow my buddy Spence talked me into driving out to Monte. He was a little scared because of the conditions at powder and the visibility did suck up there so we headed to Monte. Had my 12m frenzy in the air by 3:20. Pretty weak wind for about a half hour but the snow was really good...prob about 2-3' right by the road now, still a couple bushes and rocks but i didn't hit any. Wind got really good for the last hour, totally powered up. So powered up that one of my bridle lines pulled clean out of my kite doing a small glide. Unfortunately i was about 150 yds from the road and it was almost dark when that happened so walking out really sucked! All in all a great session.
