12/30 Skyline -- Foreign Invasion

Postby btjsfca » Tue Dec 30, 2008 8:33 pm

Odd thing to be the only local out at skyline. At least I think I was the only local; didn't see any familiar faces. Me and 10 or more out-of-towners. At least two of them got stuck in the hole. Maybe someone should write a quick post on Kiteforum about the perils of Skyline?

Anyway, wind was good (total crap in the flats) from the west, snow was very decent (getting wet and heavy), and there was plenty of sunshine. Went all over the place, and now I keen for the wide open spaces at Strawbs. I forgot how small Skyline can feel.

Really exellent first session of the season.

Happy new year!
