Skyline 1/3 11m-16m

Postby hedquista » Sat Jan 03, 2009 11:44 pm

Not so bad day up in the highlands of skyline drive. The cover was better than three weeks ago with a few twigs and such pokeing up. The few that were there were riding on anything from 11m to 16m. We had a few from the bay area flying cabrinha kites taking lessons. I think the BMW guy was there but not sure if it is the one talked about on other threads. he seemed to have some trouble so i tried to help were i could but he just ended up packing up and leaving.

The wind was gusty as predicted and patchy in spots. As long as you waited for the puffs to come it was a good ride. On top of bosco the wind was great and jsut enough pow cover to jump and make bomb holes without hurting.

I did find a bar there if any one is looking for a lost bar. you tell me the make model and condition i will return it.

I am thinking that i should have gone to strawbs with the entire utah crew but it was still a good day of riding.
