Matt and I got a late start,
but we were waiting for the storm to clear out.
We left Lake Creek parking lot around 2
and rode our sleds the 8 miles to the top.
We both took 2 kites, not knowing what to expect.
As the storm clouds moved out with the strong clearing winds,
we were left with a fresh layer of creamy powder to play in.
The strong winds gave us the first opportunity to go places we have only dreamed of kiting.
We easily went the whole distance from Heber Mtn clear to lower Bald Mtn.
Lower in the draw than ever before. Easily the Best day this year.
