What time were you there Billy? I got there about one and watched the first howling storm blow through. After that it lightened up so I rigged but it died when I got to the water. When I got my kite back to the grass there was no wind and the mosquitos were hammering me. I had to bunch everything up and run for the truck.

I rode from 5 till 7:45ish.. I got there around 430 and flew 4m trainer for a bit to get a feel for the wind, I think I could have ridden 4m with the glide if I really wanted to. I waited for the wind to get sort of smoother, and the haze to lift a little. It may have been the most up and down wind I have ever ridden, with the biggest swell so far this year on DC, It was still howling when I left.

Yeah Bro! Nice work. I had just walked out of the gym when I saw the dust cloud and felt the wind. Did you launch by the barbed wire fence? I almost came by to watch. Have fun out there!
