Another great after work session (5:00-8:00pm) The Lake is green now, but no algae slicks yet. This time the North wind had some east in it, which made it somewhat off shore at Lindon. I will blame that for a long wade back to the launch. Much of the session was in planeing conditions and as much as I could handle. I don’t know how you migratory Hood River types do it. You must be in really good shape. After a couple of hours, even in mild Utah conditions, I am spent. Also, Jorgon and I were treated to a bikini photo shoot while de-rigging. No, I didn’t get smacked in the head by the mast. There really was a bikini model! I think they were going for the pristine green hue of the water. Utah lake is a lot like the Caribbean this time of year.
