Well the wind isn't goood but it seems good enough for me right now. Kited a 13m and Cruiser Pro at the inlet yesterday. Solid wind for about 1.5 hours and then it faded a bit for the next hour. Big jumps (for me) fun times. A little surf style as well. Met Andy (euro?) from the Best team - He says hello to Jake. The Inlet is a lot like Lincoln except sandy and on the ocean - and I don't even need my 2 mm top. It has a sweet jetty and was north wind yesterday.

Today after my wife's cyclocross race I hit cocoa beach. Just enough wind to have fun in some 3 foot waves, but It was almost impossible to stay upwind. me and 1 other guy walked back up the beach about 5 times. Maybe a car shuttle tomorrow! Surf is fun as hell, but it was a little unnerving not having good power on demand when big waves were attacking. Dropping the kite in these waves would be baaaaad. The forecast does not look good, but then again, today was not supposed to be kiteable at all. And with a car pickup, it could be a really good time.
