Showed up to VERY little wind. Convinced my wife to drop me 5 miles upwind, and did a downwinder to the pier. I could barely keep the kite in the air, and had to CRANK the kite non stop for 2 hours. Good exercise. Good learning experince. But not much fun. I couldn't get more than 100 feet from shore because the white water made me sink too much. Funny thing is...I would probably do it again. Everyone is talking about the upcoming wind on Friday. Zero wind for at least 48 hours. Maybe I'll try SUP tomorrow?
