Kenny's Where to Ride 12/25

Christmas Day riding looks similar to yesterday. Strawberry will have NW wind again today in the low to mid teens and it looks like it may fade again at the end of the day. Skyline will also be wind in the mid-teens. Clouds may be an issue again today at Skyline with periods of limited visibility. The upper ridge may be rideable at Skyline today and it will be sweet as it was not accessible the past 2 days due to low visibility.

Unfortunately, Saturday is looking wind-free as high pressure builds over the area for the weekend. I am hoping that there may be a chance at Skyline or PowMow for some puffs.

Sunday is looking like there is the potential for light SE wind at Skyline.

I have looked at the forecast and Pow Mow looks dead tomorrow. tYhe Power Plant at the mouth of Weber canyon is blowing steady out of the east which it typically does with a high pressure. Personally I am getting up early tomorrow and hitting Pineview. The winds are forecast to be higher than Pow Mow and you also have the early morning canyon winds to count on. Use the Power Plant gauge to tell if Pineview should be blowing. The Huntsville gauge is too far from the narrows to use for real time info.
