1/15/10 Strawberry CC east 15M Manta3

Killer afternoon session at Strawberry. A little light on the wind side but with a bigger kite I was never stuck waiting for wind. It was primo for speed runs on the lake and though you had to get through some sage-rich areas there were some sweet powder stashes several hundred yards upwind of the parking lot and in the bowls that were relatively sage-free. 8-10 riders out tearing it up. Rode the 2010 15M Manta 3 foil for the first time. It's notably slower than my 12M manta 2 but the thing's got a lot more low end power. It'll be nice on the big powder and lighter wind days. Looking forward to some big dumps next week so that I can continue to be completely inefficient at work while watching the forecasts!

Based on the time of your posting, I assume that you rode at Strawberry on Thursday 1/14/10, not Friday.
