The DC readings were lit up so I went out and got some, Saw Mike Hill, Spencer and Stumper having a blast. Way over powered on 15 but still had a great time.

I keep thinking DC would be an ideal place for kite+ski combo. Would the ice fisherman be pissed off if we get too close to them?

I kite by the ice fisherman all the time at Pineview. I talk to them frequently and I have never sensed an attitude because I was there. Watch out for the ice holes-they tend to make domes from them scooping out the ice to keep the hole clear. Les Vierra ripped the edge out of some new Volkl's a few years ago.
