Kenny's Where to Ride 1/20

Skyline may clear today and provide gusty south wind in the mid teens and plenty of fresh. Keep an eye on the UDOT cams for clearing. The upper cam is a better indicator. PC might give up some rides today. I would keep an eye on the mesonet and not head out until there was wind. PowMow may also clear and provide some rides with gusty south wind in the mid teens.

Thursday is looking like a whiteout at Skyline. PowMow looks like strong wind in the low twenties and stronger gusts, visibility may be an issue due to airborne snow. PC looks like it will be rideable with wind in the low teens and snow squalls. Strawberry may also give up some rides. Wind is forecast to be out of the SE at Strawberry. I have only had one shot at a SE at Strawberry River, the wind was light, but consistent. If you have a big kite/board combo, you might give it a shot.

Friday - doesn't look like a lot of wind right now, but with the energy of the storms coming through, it is probably too early to make a definitive forecast.

Saturday - shows promise for NW wind at Strawberry and Skyline - keep your fingers crossed!
